Do I need to shower after the scrub?
Not immediately – the therapist removes the scrub with warm, damp towels so you finish clean and smooth. Many clients enjoy a warm rinse later in the evening, but it is not required to feel fresh right after the treatment.
What kind of scrub do you use?
We use a natural exfoliating scrub, typically a sea salt or coffee blend with aromatic oils, chosen to suit your skin. If you have a preference or any sensitivities or allergies, let us know when booking and we will adjust the blend accordingly.
Is a body scrub safe on sensitive or sunburned skin?
Exfoliation is best avoided on sunburned, broken, or very irritated skin. If your skin is sensitive or you have caught the sun, tell us when booking – the therapist can use a gentler scrub or focus on unaffected areas, or we can recommend a soothing sunburn massage instead.
